We're NOT HOMELESS!!! YEAH!!

Yeah!! We have a house! We finally came to an agreement! So this is our beautiful house. It was built in 2005. It's a split-level/multi-level/california-split (I've heard em called so many different names I don't know the correct term). It has a living room, family room, kitchen, and dining room on the main level. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs (I love my closet! It's a HUGE walk-in :). The basement is un-finished, but one day (hopefully sooner than later) will have a laundry room, 2 rooms, and half-bath. I'm so excited to have a new house, but I do have to say I'm NOT excited to pack and move :(
We both LOVE the backyard! Our favorite thing to do is sit in the backyard on summer nights. So we can't wait to get some patio furniture and spends evenings sitting back there watching Landon play. The yard seems huge! It's only like .22 of an acre, but it feels massive, this picture doesn't fully capture it :)

3rd Time, Schmerd Time

Quick house hunting update. Apparently 3rd time wasn't the charm we needed. We went out again on Monday and saw our top 3 houses again while we were waiting to hear back on our offer. Going through the house in Roy, we found some things we didn't love as much as we thought. It makes me laugh too, because the house had been listed since Feb. and in the agent remarks it said: Sellers motivated! Bring us an offer! So that makes you think they need to sell and will negotiate, right? Wrong. They were so unwilling to negotiate and thought the house was worth way more than it is. The best part was finding out they don't have anywhere to move and are debating on building and aren't in any hurry to sell :) So what's with the motivated remarks? We did however make a different offer on a house in Clinton. I know, I know...we need to make up our minds already. But now we are negotiating that one, so we'll see how this one goes :)

How to Ruin your Anniversary??? STREP THROAT!!!

Yesterday was our 5 year anniversary!! Unfortunately I spent it bundled up in bed all day with a fever and chills. I started feeling not so good on Wednesday and hoped it would pass so we could go out Thursday night like we planned, but OH NO, when I woke up Thur morning it was 10 x's worse! My throat has been killing me and so I had Adam look at it last night to see if it was red and he said I had this weird rash on the roof of my mouth. So I went onto the wonderful internet to see what all that was a symptom of, and I pretty much have all the symptoms of Strep :( I'm going to the Dr today, but I'm pretty positive what he will diagnose. Hopefully I'll feel better over the weekend so we can actually go celebrate. 5 years!! It's CRAZY! But what's even crazier is how much I Love my Hubby and how crazy I thought I was about him when we got married, and that doesn't even compare to how much I love him now! Love You Baby! Happy Anniversary!

Third Time's a Charm...right?

Well I have been stressed out that we were going to be homeless! We went looking at houses on Thursday and there was NOTHING we would even consider putting an offer on. I was getting so discouraged and stressed. Everything we had any interest in was flying off the market before we could even go see it. But, we went out again on Saturday and had MUCH BETTER luck!! We found 4 or 5 that we would consider buying. We put an offer on our favorite and will hear back today if they are accepting or countering. This is our 3rd offer on a house so I'm hopping this is the one, but if not at least we have others we are interested in! The neighborhood is so cute and there is a lillte duck pond and park maybe a block or 2 away :) So everyone keep your fingers crossed for us! :)

Under Contract

I guess this was the time to put our house up! We are offcially under contract and are set to move July 15th. I'm a little dizzy from how fast this has gone. Then the crazy part is we have a 2nd buyer waiting in the wings if something falls through on the 1st deal. We had our 2nd showing on Monday and on Tuesday while we were waiting for the 1st buyers response we got a new offer! It's crazy!! We had the house up for over 3 months last time and no offers. We have barely had it up a week and already 2 offers :) So looks like we will be moving next month! I'm so excited! Now, we just need to find somewhere to live! Wish us luck :)

Fun-filled Weekend

This weekend was so busy, but so much fun!! First off, we had our first showing on Wednesday and got an offer Thursday!! We are still negotiating, so we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm way excited!! We went camping on Friday with our good friends Mitch and Katie and their 2 kids. Landon and Andrew are best friends and love doing stuff together. Mitch's family has some land up in Morgan and it is gorgeous and perfect for camping. We only stayed over night because Adam wanted to be back early Saturday morning for the Air Show. Here are some pics of Landon's first experience camping. I thought he might be difficult, but he actually was so good! He loves being outdoors and had a blast!! Thanks again Mitch and Katie for inviting us!!

Luckily Landon didn't try and get in the fire, but he did love rearranging the rocks around the fire. Him and Andrew also had fun gathering sticks to help their daddy's with the fire. Our tent had a little weather flap thing that created a little area outside the actual tent door and the boys kept gathering sticks to make their own fire and put them in the little area outside the tent. Unfortunaltely I forgot to take a pic of their little fire pile :( We're just glad they didn't figure out how to actually start their own fire :)

We took up landon's little motorized 4wheeler and Andrew brought his jeep. Landon let Bella ride his 4wheeler and the boys cruised around in the jeep. Mitch and Katie brought 4wheelers for us adults, but unfortunately they forgot the keys :) We also shot in the field for a little bit. Adam was so proud of me, I shot with my first glock! Mitch and Katie are both Correctional Officers and have guns and therefore shoot on a regular basis. Adam was mad that we forgot to grab the camera to prove that I really did shoot :)

AIR SHOW 2009

For the last week the entire family has been getting text messages around 7 am counting down the days to the air show! Adam loves the thunderbirds and just jets and airplanes in general. He can tell you what every jet is and what kind it is just by listening to it. We go up to his parents every time they have the show because their house overlooks HAFB and you can see the runway from their backyard. A lot of the planes actually fly over the house to circle around and land. I swear sometimes the planes and jets are maybe 500 ft right above the house. His dad is bishop of a singles ward so they invited his ward up to join in on the BBQ and festivities of the day. My camera isn't the greatest so I didn't get any good pics of the jets. But here are some of the fun and games :)

They were right!!!

Landon spent the majority of the day in the water. At first he couldn't quite figure out how to climb up the little wall, but after I got in with him and showed him how to grab the handles and put his feet in the holes (he was barely tall enough to reach em, his poor cousin that is a few months younger was just a little too young to be able to do it) he was able to climb up himself to go down the slides. Good idea Grandma and Grandpa!!

My brilliant husband hasn't quite learned his lesson that he needs to put on sunscreen, especially with a shaved head. By mid-afternoon his head was a bright shiny red. So to get out of the sun he covered himself with Landon's towels and then his mom came over to see him and this was the result :)

Here we go again...

Well the house is up for sale again :) Hopefully this time we will see some magic happening! We found a house that I absolutely love and the guy selling it is practically giving it away! We went through it on Saturday and made an offer, but unfortunately he won't accept an offer with a time contigency :( So, prayers for us please :) that our house will sell before that one is gone :) We've been crazy busy this week trying to do little things around the house. People probably think I'm crazy for doing so much when we are just trying to turn around and sale it, but my philosophy is, if it don't cost alot, just takes time, and could help it sale, I'm ALL for it. So I'll keep ya posted with any progress, but in the mean time, keep your fingers crossed for us :)
