Memorial Day
My husband is a huge war buff. So when I heard about the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall, I knew he would love to go. It's a replica of the memorial in Washington D.C. This wall is half scale of the actual wall. It was amazing and humbling to see the names of all those soliders who died in the war. It's astonishing to hear a number, but something completely different to see it. I'm so glad to live in America and be free. I'm so grateful to the men and women who serve and have served to keep this country free. May God bless you.

I think it is awesome that you guys took the time to go see that monument. We saw it last year when it was here. Did you remember to look for my cousin's name on it. It really was emotional when I saw it.
We did actually find his name.. Boyd Keith Newbold SP5 - E5- ARMY - PANEL 20W - LINE 31 .. The picture turned out really fuzzy so we didn't put it on here :( But it was really neat to see such an amazing monument. Very emotional.
Andrew would love that. Do you know how long it is around for or is it already gone? Let me know. Thanks.
How fun, my friend took her kids to see Thomas too. She said it was a blast. So Jared and I have been watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs/finals. Don't tell Adam but we want the Penguins to win. ;) Cute blog by the way.
